GENERAL INFORMATION
Our baseball program is open to boys and girls, ages 4-16, who live or attend school within our league approved boundary.  Our Fall Season will begin September. Our Spring Season games begin February. Game times and practice times are 6 or 7:30 during the week and 9am-6pm on Saturday. Practice for the season will begin immediately following Draft which will be held in September for the Fall season and January for the Spring season. Plan on beginning practice immediately following. Individual Coaches will schedule their field time and notify players and parents via email or our website. MLL will conduct a skills assessment prior to team drafts for the Spring Season only.


LEAGUE AGE
Your player will play in the division based on their LEAGUE AGE. It may not match their current age as it's based on their age on a certain date. Your player's division for Spring 2024 is based on their age on August 31, 2024. This is considered their League Age.

The registration system will only allow you to register your players for the appropriate age division based on their birthdate. We do not allow players to play up or down in age. The division that the system shows you IS the correct division for your player.

• Uniform - Hat & Jersey
• 12 Games
• Lights, Facilities, Umpires, field maintenance, etc.

*Please note that teams often have additional fees for items they agree on. These may or may not include hat embroidery, player pennants, team banner, Fun Day basket, end of season trophies, and end of season party. These costs are NOT included in the MLL registration fees.
Once teams have been drafted there will be NO refunds issued



Please note that due to enrollment totals, MLL may engage in interleague play for the Intermediate and Senior Divisions, which may result in games to be held at other local fields.

Note, if you would like to request a coaching partner (Assistant Coach or Head Coach) you can do so through the site. If you are not interested in volunteering, please check the box at the bottom of the page and proceed on.

MLL Spring 2024

Welcome to the Spring 2024 Baseball Season Registration with Montgomery Little League. We are chartered through Little League International and play in the Southwest Region, East Texas Section 2, District 28.

PLEASE take a moment to read this in its entirety. There is A LOT of useful information and answers to commonly asked questions.

Registration Fees:
  • $250 until January 5, 2024
  • LATE Registration January 6th -10th $250 + $50 LATE FEE (NO DISCOUNTS)
  • TBall registration $215

** IMPORTANT DATES - PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDAR**

** Opening Day is scheduled for February 24, 2024 - If you or someone you know is interested in being a vendor, please email [email protected].

** Evaluations are January 13, 2024 (times TBD) - ALL players are required to attend. (Tball & Advanced Tball will not tryout). For the spring season, NO player requests are allowed. We will only evaluate requests for siblings.

** Team Draft Day will be January 20, 2024 (times TBD) - this is for COACHES ONLY.
 
  • Players are provided a jersey and hat! All other equipment: pants, socks, belt, bat, glove, helmet and cleats are the responsibility of the parents.

  • Games and practices will take place Monday-Saturday. Weeknight games will be scheduled for 5:30, 7 and 7:30 and can run as late as 10:30pm. Saturday games can be scheduled all day. After tryouts, once teams are drafted and coaches are assigned, you will receive more information regarding your specific practice times/dates. This information is NOT available until AFTER teams are drafted on 01/20/24. As a league, we cannot provide practice times/games until we have completed registration and teams are drafted.

  • We ask that all COACHES COME TO THE DRAFT WITH A SPONSOR FOR THEIR TEAM. Sponsorship is $400 for the team. If you or a parent are interested in sponsoring a team please email [email protected].
 
Fundraising Requirement: As a league we are allowed to have one fundraiser per year and we have decided to do a raffle. Each player will be required to sell a book of raffle tickets. A full raffle book is worth $200 and there is 20 tickets in the book which means that each one is worth $10.00. We have lots of great prizes that are on there ranging from Astros items to local places. A player may opt out of selling their book for a fee of $150. This $150 would be paid to the team parent toward the middle of February. Raffle tickets will be given out during player evaluations, so even if you do not have an evaluation on that day, you will need to come by and pick up the tickets.
 
IMPORTANT - When completing your child's registration, all players are automatically drafted into the correct division that corresponds to their birthday. The dates are pre determined within the system. See Little League Age Chart for reference:

  • All coaches and volunteers must complete the volunteer form within their players account, and email [email protected] that you are interested. This goes for all returning coaches and volunteers as well, thank you!

  • If you registered to be a Team Parent/Dug Out Parent, there will be a meeting before the season begins to go over what this all entails, and give you lots of information, guidance and great ideas on how to have a successful season. Team Parents are a very important part of each teams success!

Season will end at the beginning of June!
