Dear Parents of Montgomery Little League,

Montgomery Little League was one of VERY few youth baseball organizations to successfully complete both a Spring and Fall Season during the COVID-19 pandemic. We were also able to continue making improvements to the complex. These improvements include new dugouts, a brand new covered lighted batting facility, improved drainage, improved walkways, and privacy screens around utility areas. All of this has given the complex a much more professional feel. We hope to continue to make improvements and lead the way for how Little League baseball should be done. Our goal this year is to provide turf grass on the T Ball field. Our goal is to ensure that your child will be experiencing the absolute BEST Little League experience in the area.  We can proudly say we have accomplished all of this without increasing the registration fees for your child in over 4 years and remain one of the least expensive Leagues in the area.

Currently, registration fees barely cover the cost of umpires and maintenance of the facility. Our annual raffle ticket sales is our primary source to provide the funding for all upgrades and improvements to the facilities our families enjoy. It has always been an option for parents to take a “buyout” and not participate in the fundraiser. However, parents choosing the buyout option deprives the League of nearly $15,000 a year. This year we wish to continue giving parents with extenuating circumstances the option with a buyout. However, to mitigate the loss in revenue it has been set at 75% of the cost of 1 book rather than 50% we previously offered. Make no mistake, we are STRONGLY encouraging all of our parents to participate in the fundraiser and help keep Montgomery Little League the BEST youth sports program around. With that said every player that sells more than the required book will get an entry into a separate raffle drawing. We will have some awesome prizes for them.
