Montgomery Little League’s Spring Season is opening on February 24^th. We are excited to be back at the fields. Last Spring, our Montgomery Little League had an amazing season with each of our divisions performing, scoring and competing at the highest level! We even had our Intermediate Division All-Stars compete in the State Championship! In seasons, past we have had an All-Star team go all the way to the World Series! MLL can’t wait to see what we can do this year!

We encourage everyone to register early so we can accurately determine division sizes and make-ups. Early registration does help us to determine all of the important factors for a successful season.  

Some important notes for this season:

1. If we have three (3) teams or less in our INT and SENIOR divisions, there is a chance we will follow an “interleague” schedule. This means we will play local teams (Conroe, NW45, Tomball and Orwall). Travel may be required between those locations.
2.  It is our intent to split our more populated divisions - Machine Pitch (MP) and Minors– by experience and skill level, not just by age.  Tryouts will be very important for this to be successful. Please save the date of January 27^th for those tryouts! Tryouts will be conducted for MP, Minors, INT and Senior.
3. Each Spring Season we ask that our MLL Families help to keep costs down by selling a packet of Raffle tickets. We are very thankful to all of you for selling these tickets and helping our league. This past season we were able to renovate all of our fields with new mounds, better drainage and even modifications for safer baselines! This year’s raffle will not only help us keep the costs of the league down but also allow us to update all the equipment and some of the machines! We would also love to add a TBALL field. Tickets will be $10 (per ticket) this year and the packet will have 20 tickets. Each player is asked to sell 1 packet.  You will receive these at tryouts and they will be due back before Opening Day.
4. NEW BAT RULES – Please note that Spring 2018 is the first season that the New Bat Rules will be official. Bats that do not comply with the Little League International rules will not be allowed in the dugout or on the fields. Please review the Bat Rules on the LLI website www.littleleague.org BEFORE purchasing any new bats. Each division is outlined. It is up to the coach to check bats prior to the start of practice and games. Umpires will also check prior to the game.
